Oru Gramam Mooru Ormakal is the ethnographic compendium to the monograph titled ‘Praxis Invervention Research with the Dalit Christians and other Marginalized Communities of Manjadikkari, Kottayam district, Kerala’. This was an ICSSR and IUCSSRE funded research carried out at IUCSSRE, MG University. The narratives presented in the book were collected by the researchers of the praxis intervention project from the village itself. They were all ordinary women and women who conducted the field work and compiled the information. It actually foregrounds the social memory of the people.presenting critically many aspects the every day life in the Manjadikkari village on the mode of ethnographic history the book breaks fresh ground in our understanding of long trajectories of social transformation among Dalit Christians and other marginalised social groups.
