Dr. P. SANAL MOHAN, Professor, School of Social Sciences, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala is retiring on 30 April 2021 after an accomplished academic career with remarkable achievements. Dr. Sanal had also served as the Hon. Director of the Inter University Centre for Social Science Research and Extension (IUCSSRE), and Director, Kerala Council of Historical Research (KCHR).
The IUCSSRE is organizing “Scholars of Eminence Web-Lectures” in honour of Dr Sanal Mohan from 15 to 28 April 2021.
The Web-Lectures commence at 6.00 PM (IST) on all days, except for the Valedictory Lecture on 28 April, which is scheduled at 7.00 PM (IST).
Prof SABU THOMAS, Vice Chancellor, Mahatma Gandhi University, will flag off the lectures on 15 April.
Prof. RAJAN GURUKKAL, Vice Chairman of Kerala State Higher Education Council, will deliver the Inaugural Lecture on 15 April. Prof DIPESH CHAKRABORTY (Chicago University) will deliver the valedictory address on 28 April 2021.
